There is no recovery phrase, no security question, no SMS reset on Biolovers. If you have neither your password nor a verified email on file, the only path back in is reaching out to us and proving the account is yours.

Why this happens

When you sign up, email is optional. If you skip it, the dashboard is happy to let you in for as long as you remember your password — but if you forget that password later, there’s no automated recovery flow to fall back on, because Forgot password only works if you have a verified email on file.

The only way back in

Reach out to us and ask for a manual reset. We’ll only do this if you can prove ownership. Pick whichever channel is easier for you:

What “proof of ownership” looks like

Send as much of this as you can — the more, the faster:
  • The exact username of the account (biolovers.site/<username>).
  • The approximate date you signed up (month / year is fine).
  • Any purchase receipts (Stripe or NOWPayments emails — even forwarded screenshots).
  • A linked Discord account that matches the one on the profile.
  • Screenshots of your old profile from before you got locked out — uploads, bio text, custom badges, anything visitors could not have known.
  • If you have it: the email address you might have used at signup even if you never verified it.

What we can’t do

  • We can’t tell you what your old password was — passwords are one-way hashed, not stored.
  • We can’t recover content tied to a different account if the username was already given away.
  • We won’t bypass identity checks for accounts with purchases tied to another person’s payment method (chargeback risk).

Avoiding this in the future

After you regain access, do at least one of these:
  1. Add and verify an email — see Email. This unlocks the automated reset flow.
  2. Save your password in a real password manager (Bitwarden, 1Password, browser keychain).
Optionally turn on Two-factor sign-in so a stolen password alone can’t be used.
