Easiest: links.yourdomain.com. Using the main name yourdomain.com also works.

Steps

Type the domain in the dashboard

Sign in and open Domain & URL. Under Your own domain, type yourdomain.com (or links.yourdomain.com) and click Use this domain.

Add a CNAME where you bought the domain

Open DNS for that domain (Cloudflare, Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.). Add a CNAME. Copy Name and Target from the dashboard. Paste them as-is.yourdomain.comlinks.yourdomain.comLeave TTL on Auto. Do not type quotes. Do not type https://. Do not leave a space in front of the target.Cloudflare: click the orange cloud so it turns grey (DNS only). If you leave it orange, Cloudflare shows error 1014 and the page will not load.
DNS → Add record → CNAME. Name @ for yourdomain.com, or bio for bio.yourdomain.com. Target cname.biolovers.site. Turn the orange cloud off (grey / DNS only). Save.
Domain List → Manage → Advanced DNS → Add New Record → CNAME Record. Host @ or links. Value cname.biolovers.site. Save.
DNS → Add → CNAME. Name @ or links. Value cname.biolovers.site. Save.

Check DNS

Back on the dashboard, click Check DNS. If it is not ready, wait a minute and click again. Usually under five minutes.

Wait for the lock icon

After DNS is found, the secure padlock in the browser can take a few more minutes. The panel says Live when it is ready. Leave the tab open — it refreshes by itself.

If Check DNS still fails

  • Target must be exactly cname.biolovers.site — no quotes, no https://, no extra space.
  • On Cloudflare the cloud must be grey, not orange. Orange = error 1014.
  • If you already have an A record on the same name (@ or links), delete that A record first. You cannot have both.
  • The dashboard also shows a TXT name and value. Add that only if the CNAME still does not go through.

After it is live

  • Share https://yourdomain.com/ — that is the whole link.
  • Opening https://yourdomain.com/yourname sends people to /.
  • Comments still need you signed in on biolovers.site. Reading comments on yourdomain.com still works.
  • Change or remove the domain any time in the same panel.

No. Use whatever you already registered.
One at a time. Remove the current one first if you want to switch.
The orange cloud is on. Click it so it turns grey, save, wait a minute, then open the domain again.
DNS is connected but the certificate is still being made. Wait up to 15 minutes with the dashboard open. If it is still stuck, open a ticket in our Discord or use our contact form.
