Card payments use Stripe Checkout — the same secure hosted page powering most online stores. We never see your card number.

How to pay

  1. Go to the checkout page for what you want (e.g. /premium).
  2. Tap Purchase.
  3. In the popup, pick Card / Apple Pay and accept the Terms + Refund policy boxes.
  4. Tap Purchase — $X.XX.
  5. A new tab opens with Stripe Checkout — type your card or use Apple Pay.
  6. Once Stripe confirms, you land on our success page. Your account is upgraded immediately (or within seconds).
If the popup is blocked, the page shows a Reopen Stripe link to recover.

Receipts

You get a branded Biolovers receipt email once payment confirms (sent via our own mail pipeline). Stripe also sends its standard receipt with VAT info to the same address. Both go to the email on file. You must have a verified email to checkout — the API rejects the request otherwise. See Email.

Disputes / refunds

See Refunds. Short version: fees are final and non-refundable by default, with narrow exceptions for billing errors / non-delivery / unused purchases obviously made in error.

Common questions

No. Stripe handles every part of the card flow on their own page. We get a payment confirmation, never the card number.
Use Pay with crypto — NOWPayments works almost everywhere.
Pop-up blockers, ad-blockers, or strict tracking-prevention can block Stripe’s hosted page. Either allow *.stripe.com once, or tap Reopen Stripe in the modal.
Wait ~30 seconds — the success page polls until our system confirms the upgrade. If it still doesn’t apply, refresh the dashboard. If still missing after 5 minutes, send the Stripe receipt through our contact form or open a ticket in Discord.
