How it updates

The card is live. It is powered by the Biolovers Discord bot connected to Discord’s gateway — when your status changes, the bot pushes the new presence to your profile within a couple of seconds. There is no Lanyard relay involved — the bot itself emits the data. You must share at least one server with the bot for the live data to flow. The Biolovers community Discord is the easiest way; any server the bot is in works. Without that, the card stays Offline (with a “Join our Discord” call-to-action). Setting your Discord status to Invisible also reads as Offline by design — Discord doesn’t broadcast presence for invisible users, so neither do we.
