# Gift Premium or badge slots

> Buy Lifetime Premium or custom badge slots for someone else — search their username, pay with card or crypto, and the upgrade lands on their account.

Gift **Lifetime Premium** or **custom badge slots** to another Biolovers member. You pay; the upgrade is applied to their account.

## What you can gift

| Product           | What they get                                                                                                                              |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Premium**       | Lifetime Premium on their account — same unlocks as buying for yourself. See [What Premium unlocks](/premium/what-premium-unlocks).        |
| **Custom badges** | Extra custom badge slots they design with their own icon. See [Custom badges](/badges/custom-badges). Pick a bundle size on the gift page. |

You can't gift Verified or a donation tier from this page — those stay on their own checkout flows.

## How to gift

1. Sign in at <a href="https://dashboard.biolovers.site" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dashboard.biolovers.site</a> (gifting requires a signed-in buyer).
2. Open <a href="https://biolovers.site/gift" target="_blank" rel="noopener">biolovers.site/gift</a>.
3. Choose **Premium** or **Custom badges**.
4. Search the recipient by **username**. The page confirms they're eligible (e.g. they don't already own Premium if you're gifting Premium).
5. Accept the Terms and Refund policy, then pay with **card** (Stripe) or **crypto** (NOWPayments) — same rails as self-checkout.

When payment clears, the upgrade lands on their account automatically. They don't need to enter a code.

## Tips

* The recipient needs an existing account. Ask them to [sign up](/getting-started/sign-up) first if they don't have one.
* You can't gift Premium to yourself from this page — use the normal [Premium checkout](https://biolovers.site/premium).
* If the lookup says they already have Premium, pick **Custom badges** instead (or gift someone else).

    The upgrade is applied to their account as soon as payment succeeds. Point them at the dashboard if they don't notice right away.

  <Accordion title="What if the payment fails?">
    Nothing is applied until payment succeeds. Retry from the gift page, or see [Refunds](/premium/refunds) if money left your account and nothing landed.
